Art school; Navy vet '51-'55; LSU-McNeese, B.S. degree; Family bus.-Port of L.C.; Married '51, 2 girls & a boy; Lafayette-own bus. 4 yrs.til '71; Divorced '71; GREAT baclorhood-Laf.-Houston 10 yrs.--from nieve, no-brainer to confident, mature man that finally gave up all the nonsense I had previously been indoctrinated to belive. Learned to think critically, read much, and REeducated myself. 360 degree turn around--from far right to mid/left. No longer a Christian. I believe in God who is female. Most people know her as "Mother Nature". She doesn't answers prayers, is indiferent to prase. She cares no more for humankind than any other specieskind. th any of her creations. She neither rewards nor punishes. The more we learn about her the better able we are to koop, understand, and survive her irratic nature. Remarried in '85-from N.O., 17 yrs younger than me. Moved to Austin where I now have more friends than I can find time for. Much healther than most 78 yr old males. Don't see or hear well and my "mojo" has slipped a noch (but it needed to!). I love rational discussions on politics, religon, sex,or any mature subject. Please no emotional zelots.
I always wanted to be a artist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
